Description

A color photograph of the receptionist's desk outside J. Irwin Miller's Irwin Management Company office at 301 Washington Street, designated Area 46 in drawings, with a view towards the bank of filing cabinets incorporated in the partition wall. Features the built-in cantilevered side table and receptionist desk designed by Alexander Girard. Girard designed the office suite for J. Irwin Miller in the early 1960s, then renovated the entire building complex in the early 1970s.
