MEMORANDUM

Date: April 4, 2000

To: Xenia S. Miller, Irwin Miller

From: William D. Chambers

Subject: National Historic Landmark Designation for 2760

The Department of the Interior wishes to consider 2760 for a National Historic Landmark designation at their April 10, 2000 meeting. This is the project initiated by Louis Joyner and the local Preserve to Enjoy group in April 1999.

ln order to facilitate this timetable, the Department of the Interior is asking XSM and JIM to waive the 60-day comment period provided for in the rules governing consideration of sites for Historic Landmark designation. Other Columbus buildings being considered for this designation (NCC, lrwin Union Bank) have agreed to waive the 60-day comment period.

Please sign "Xenia S. Miller" and "J. lrwin Miller" at the indicated spaces.
