Dedicating "Large Arch" and the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library
Dedication of "Large Arch" and the Cleo Rogers Memorial Library brought over 300 community members to the library plaza to hear local leaders, architect I.M. Pei, and Carl J. Weinhardt, Jr., director of the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
The event took place on May 16, 1971, one month after the installation of "Large Arch" and nearly eighteen months after the new library opened.
