Subject: 301 Visitors
A 25-member study group from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in NYC will visit Columbus this week from Thursday-Saturday (October 12-14).
A focus of the study group will be the work of interior designer, Alexander Girard. The Cooper-Hewitt currently has a major Girard exhibit that runs through March 18, 2001. Therefore, the group will visit our 301 office building and the Miller's home to see Girard's work first hand.
The group will arrive at IMCo at 10:30 a.m. on Friday where WDC [William D. Chambers] will greet them and give them a tour of our building. The group will end up in the dining room for refreshments.
We want to use this visit as an opportunity to organize and clean up our work spaces. The ledges of all support staff spaces should be completely clear, i.e., no papers, dishes, files, etc. should be placed on these ledges. All offices should be free of clutter.
We greatly appreciate your help in this organizational effort. PJB and I are available to assist you with packing or moving things to storage, if necessary. Just let me know if you need us.
