Dear Bill:
Congratulations on your new status! and lots of good wishes.
My next trip to Columbus seems not to be materializing.
I have been waiting to hear from Hat for over a month regarding it.
I am now involved in working full time on an exhibition here, and would be unable to leave until after the holidays.
Regarding the carpet in the IM offices — it seems to me you need to reorder enough to do the job over, or progressively as desired.
The mill that originally made the carpet is back in very good shape.
However, it will, of course, be more expensive and take a while to obtain.
If you can send me a sample (preferably unused), and the square footage (indicate lengths and widths) you need, I could then obtain estimates of cost and time.
I suppose the interim solution is juggling the pieces you have.
Continued . . . . . . . .

I would presently guess that it would take three to four months to obtain new carpet. However, I may be being optimistic!
The Santa Fe project consists of giving our Foundation Collection to the Museums of New Mexico. ‘
That is what I am working on, and hoping to live through it!
Our best wishes to you and Jackie,
AHG/mvb
