037 Brass chair details by Hadley Fruits

A color photograph of a chair in J. Irwin Miller's Irwin Management Company office at 301 Washington Street, designated Area 43 in drawings. J. Irwin Miller requested permission from Herman Miller to render a number of Charles and Ray Eames' Soft Pad chairs in brass for his executive office. Girard designed the office suite for J. Irwin Miller in the early 1960s, then renovated the entire building complex in the early 1970s.
